Educating families and individuals how to connect through safe, consensual and nurturing touch.

The touch work that I teach was developed for connection, but also, and most importantly, consent. This is taught through the child and/or adult’s own body awareness, learning the ways they like to be touched and the ways they do not. This safe learning environment and the sacred space you build allows for one to practice saying yes or no. (intturn)And learning to trust themselves. There are specific sequences taught to engage in safe touch, with each stage of development, including adults. 

 

+++studies show that Connecting Families through(with) touch grow a deeper connection and an over all improved wellness. Educating people how to touch in a safe nurturing way along with the many benefits of touch such as, regulating their nervous system, which in turn regulated all the systems.

Areas of Practice


Infant Massage

parent/caregiver and child (one month to crawling)

5 week class. each class is 90 minutes. there is a maximum of 6 families per class. You will learn the many benefits of massage, techniques, while learning baby’s cues. This class is great way to support bonding, with both parents. Infant massage research show the many benefits of infant massage:

  • Better digestion

  • better sleep

  • cognitive development 

  • growth 

  • bonding/connection



Connected Consent:

 Consent, touch sequence, communication, body awareness and support, healthy relationship, boundaries

In a group setting, this is for couples, and single folks 

  • improves communication

  • intimacy

  • regulated nervous system

  • nurturing touch


The Growing Child

talking to 6years  (parents only)

 This class was developed to empower the growing child to ask for connection. and to become more body aware. These can be tools to caring over from infant massage or a way to start connecting with you child in a new way. 

You will learn:

  • fun, safe, connecting techniques (making a pizza, garden,cake,)

  • communication

  • body awareness

  • beter sleep, digestion, and connection

  • learn how this can be a reset for the nervous system

  • positive attention vs negative attention

  • great way to support transition

  • sensitivities to touch



 


Couples Massage Instruction

Learn to connect with your partner in a new way. This is a great followup to the Connected Consent class.

You will learn:

  • massage sequence

  • how to nurture your partner

  • improve communication

  • increase intimacy

  • stress relief


The Growing Child II

body awareness, consent, spacial boundaries, friendships what a good friend is (children and adults separately) schools and private classes or instruction

In this class the student will learn spacial boundaries, consent and body awareness. There will be group and individual learning, a student has the option to participate in the group work.

  • using hola hoops to sense ones own boundary

  • learning to identify ones emotions, feeling and felt senses

  • while learning to identify ones self the student is able to learn to be more aware of others

  • consent and the value of a good friend and being a good friend

  • improves communication skills

  • regulated nervous system

Parents learn: cake and pizza work, letters, and stretches



Adolescent to teenage

adolescent :

Consent  and body awareness. what a healthy relationship/friendship looks like spacial boundaries more individual body awareness work 


  • using hola hoops to sense ones own boundary

  • learning to identify ones emotions, feelings and felt sense

  • while learning to identify ones self the student is able to learn to be more aware of others

  • consent and the value of a good friend and being a good friend

  • improves communication skills

  • regulated nervous system
